A highly-detailed Morganite Crystal Skull! This lovely pink gem is a member of the Beryl family and is sometimes called Pink Emerald. It was mined from Brazil's famous gem producing capital, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It shows exceptional clarity, rainbow sparkle and gemminess, particularly for such a large piece.
This fine stone is a cousin to Emerald, Heliodor, Goshenite, and Aquamarine, which are all members of the Beryl family of minerals.
It measures 2-9/16 inches front to back, or 65mm; and weighs precisely .40 lb or 182 grams. That means this skull contains over 910 carats of rare and beautiful Morganite!
The skull is completely hand-carved and shows extraordinary realism in it's shape and details, including Raven's hollowed-out cheekbones and jaws. It has a fabulous polish that really compliments the natural depth and beauty of the Morganite itself.
Overall, a very lovely heirloom quality crystal skull!
